NOTICE: Public Hearing - Proposed bill to amend the Land Use Ordinance regulating vacation rentals

Subject: A proposed bill to amend Chapter 21, the Land Use Ordinance regulating Transient Vacation Unit and Bed & Breakfast home visitor accommodations. According to the City Department of Planning and Permitting, which initiated and supports the bill, the purpose of the amendment is to improve administration and enforcement of Chapter 21. The Hawaii Vacation Rental Owners Association (HVROA) opposes the bill and asks people to testify against it during the public hearing.
