Castle Medical Center opened its doors in 1963, and the residents of Windward Oahu have enjoyed better, safer lives because of its presence. Castle's vision of being a recognized leader providing quality care and wellness in a spiritual setting while maintaining fiscal strength has served the community well. Our mission of "Caring for our community. Sharing God's love." empowers Castle's healthcare providers to deliver Exceptional Medicine by Exceptional People. Castle Medical Center treats all patients regardless of their background.
Castle is an important asset to our community as a medical center with 160 beds, more than 1,000 associates, 280 physicians, and 200 dedicated volunteers. Castle Medical Center has an 18-bed emergency department, 12-bed birth center, intensive care unit, surgical weight loss institute, joint care center, outpatient clinic, behavioral services unit, comprehensive diagnostic services system, wellness and lifestyle medicine center, and a home health agency. In May we opened our first Urgent Care center at the Castle Professional Center in Kaneohe.
