About our speakers:
Mary Silva is a senior risk engineering consultant at Crum & Forster. Ms. Silva is a 30+ year safety professional who has worked in the insurance, telecommunications, petrochemical/oil & gas, and construction industries. Ms. Silva holds a BS from the University of Oklahoma in Chemical Engineering, Pre-Med. She currently holds the Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP), and is also a BCSP Ambassador which serves to spread the benefits of certification. Ms. Silva is very active in volunteering with the American Society of Safety Professionals and is the chair for the annual professional development conference committee. She also is the speakers' committee chairperson for the 2020 Pacific Rim Safety & Health Conference.
As a retired U.S. Navy Lieutenant Commander and Intelligence Operations Officer, David Silva has been trained to win conflicts and wars while providing humanitarian assistance and disaster response. Coupled with his high energy and thought-provoking training delivery, he’s a natural fit to meet your workplace training needs. He is experienced at motivating groups with solid content, pointed stories and a great sense of humor. His experience comes from a 28 year United States naval career and educated with a Bachelor of Science, Masters in Business Management and a Certificate in Organizational Change.
